Northdown Family Hub Post-16 Education
Our Northdown site is for ages 16-18 (16-24 for those who have an EHCP). It is open to a range of abilities including mainstream learners, students with special education needs and EHCP learners.
Our Northdown Education site is dedicated to supporting the reintroduction of students into full-time education, and or employment. With a student to tutor ratio of 4:1, students are guided in their time at Sports Connect through focused pathways and interventions.
At the Northdown Family Hub, we offer a unique and bespoke education programme tailored to meet the needs of each individual learner.
Based at the Northdown Family Hub, the learners have access to indoor and outdoor sporting facilities, as well as extra-curricular activities within the local area.
This 3-day-a-week provision will allow students to gain key skills and qualifications, such as the Level 2 Diploma in Working in Sport, and Employability Skills.
Designed for small groups, our referral-only programme provides a supportive environment where learners can thrive and achieve their goals.
