Ramsgate FC Academy
Sports Connect UK is pleased to introduce a brand new Post 16 education provision in partnership with Ramsgate FC & TSC Football Academy, this is a platform designed to provide comprehensive education, sports training and development opportunities for individuals. The academy offers an exciting curriculum delivered by well qualified and passionate tutors.
Courses on offer:
Level 2/Level 3 Extended Diploma Sports and Physical Activity (Sports Science)
Level 2/Level 3 Diploma Sports and Physical Activity (Working in Sport)
The Ramsgate provision is a full-time football and education programme for Year 11 school leavers. In partnership with Total Sports Coaching, the students train and play on a top quality 3G pitch, providing them with the facilities to reach their full football potential.
Led by a team of experienced, highly qualified coaches, we deliver training sessions designed to challenge, motivate, and inspire each player to push beyond their limits and realise their full potential.
Encompassing both the classroom and training facilities, the Ramsgate provision allows for students to remain onsite for the duration of the school day. This is with the exception of extra-curricular activities to promote team building and collaboration.
Students will study for a Level 2 or Level 3 NCFE in Sport while training and playing like a semi-pro athlete. Players will train 3-4 times a week under the professional guidance of TSC Coaches and compete in top youth leagues, with a clear route into adult football and beyond.
Students will benefit from full player analysis using the state-of-the-art VEO system, tracking players in training and matches. The Ramsgate Academy play in the National League U19 Alliance and the FA Youth Cup
Pathways to apprenticeships, full-time employment and the Ramsgate FC 1st team are also available.
