With a student to tutor ratio of 7:1, the Whitstable provision promotes independence under the support of the tutors.
Housing both the classroom and training facilities, students remain onsite for the duration of the school day. This is with the exception of extra-curricular activities to promote team-building and collaboration.
Students will study NCFE Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity, with the prospect of gaining further coaching qualifications.
Our Whitstable Academy is based at Whitstable FC, where we work alongside Football Futures to support students both in the classroom and on the pitch. The students train and play on a top quality 3G pitch, providing them with the facilities to reach their full football potential.
Students benefit from full player analysis using the Veo system, and fitness performance tracked by StatSports. Pathways to apprenticeships, full-time employment and international scholarships are just some of the options available to students post-studies.
Our Academy team plays in the National League U19 Alliance and FA Youth Cup, and boasts pathways into the Whitstable FC first team and reserves.
