Sports Connect partners with Ramsgate FC and TSC Football Academy to deliver post-16 education and football development.
Sports Connect is proud to launch an exciting new education and training provision in partnership with Ramsgate FC and TSC Football Academy. This collaboration will provide young people in Thanet and the surrounding area with the chance to continue their education while developing their footballing skills at the recent champions of the Isthmian League South East Division.
Based at Ramsgate FC, students will study with Sports Connect, gaining recognised qualifications such as Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Sport, while benefitting from high-quality football coaching delivered by TSC Football Academy. The programme is designed to combine academic study, professional football training, and valuable real-world experience to help students unlock opportunities both on and off the pitch.
Ramsgate FC is a community-driven club, known for its investment in youth development and its commitment to supporting local players. The club’s facilities, alongside the expertise of Sports Connect and TSC Football Academy, will provide students with a unique pathway to further education, careers in sport, and potential progression in football.

Students will benefit from:
• Academic qualifications with Sports Connect, tailored to prepare them for university, apprenticeships, or employment.
• Elite football coaching from TSC Football Academy, with opportunities to train and play within the Ramsgate FC structure.
• Work placements and mentoring across Ramsgate FC, Sports Connect, and local community partners.
The first intake of students have joined us this September, with September 2026 applications now open for boys and girls aged 16–19 who want to continue their education while pursuing their sporting ambitions.
