We’re thrilled to announce that Sports Connect has been honoured with the Kent Wellbeing Award for Sports Project of the Year 2024! This recognition highlights our commitment to creating inclusive, impactful, and accessible opportunities in sport across Kent. The awards ceremony, held on October 25 at the Ashford International Hotel, celebrated champions of mental health and wellbeing across the region, hosted by Nicola Everett of kmfm and Simon Dolby from Mind in Bexley and East Kent.
Collaboration at the Heart of Success
Sports Connect works closely with key Kent organisations to open doors to sport for both young people and adults. For this award, our partnerships with Kent FA and CALM UK were highlighted. These partnerships have enabled initiatives like social football sessions for men aged 35+, designed to boost mental health awareness in a supportive environment. Our Calm Club programme offers a valuable space for participants to connect, share challenges, and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. To find out more about our Calm Club, click here
